The Cost of Working
After I pay for child care, I will net about $8 a week--which is what gas will probably cost me. Add in the new clothes I bought. This "job" will end up costing us about $200--over 14 weeks. Isn't life grand.
Oh, well. Getting out of the house and teaching is worth it...I think.

Oh, the glamorous life a college professor! You're right though, it is worth it.
We lose money everytime I head to work, too. But it is definitely worth it. Just gotta keep looking at the "big picture" :)
You have my permission (even though you don't know me!!!) to change your mind and stay home with your baby a little longer
