It's done...

I have finished packing for the little guy. We are leaving in 10 days and I am victorious. I am impressed that I was able to fit 3 days worth of stuff into his diaper bag/backpack. I was worried about that--gotta love space bags. I made a list, and checked it twice and it is all packed. I am of course no where near being ready with our stuff, but that will come a little later. I am still trying to decide how much acutal luggage to take. I'm not sure how much stuff we will acquire and bring back with us. I guess as time gets closer I will figure it out. I don't really want to travel with that much luggage as on the way back, even though we will check everything except for the diaper bag and small shoulder bag. It is just so hard to figure out. I guess I will have to see how much room I have left after I pack for hubby and myself. I am really trying not to worry and stress about everything but it is so hard.

Well, at least I know the little one will have everything that he needs--his parents. And we will have everything we need--our son.

I'm actually responding to your comment on TheBus4Us blog as they are in Ethiopia getting Teeny. They will be home late Saturday night and so will probably be in contact with people on the blog sometime on Sunday. Good Luck to you on your journey. GW

Holy cow, woman! You're so efficient! When my time comes, I'll be running around like a rabid, headless chicken trying to get everything done. I can guarantee that I won't be packed until ten minutes before we leave for the airport.

It's so exciting that you're getting close! Woo hoo!
