Didn't help that I found conflicting requirements in our agency literature! Our first one is tomorrow. Here's what I understand: Reports with your homestudy agency at 1, 3, and 6 months. Family reports at 3, 6, and 12 months then every year thereafter.

-MP2Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24548244.post-1159246026711011402006-09-25T23:47:00.000-05:002006-09-25T23:47:00.000-05:00Hi Dawn. This is my first post on your blog, but ...Hi Dawn. This is my first post on your blog, but I have been reading it since close to the beginning. Like the others who left comments, I am so glad to hear that you are feeling better than you were when you wrote your last posts. I am not yet a parent, but I can say that it does seem that your feelings are totally normal. You can get through this rough adjustment. Just take a look at that little precious angel of yours when you are feeling down. Such a glimpse can re-charge you for your tasks ahead. I'll be adopting within the next couple of years and will be doing it as a single parent with a very demanding career (outside of parenthood), so I am sure that I will have some considerable adjustment issues too. All parents seem to go through that, no matter if they are first-timers or seasoned veterans. Perhaps you can take comfort in the fact that you are not alone. Parenthood is rough sure, but as you say "it rocks!"

-AngelaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24548244.post-1159238651186414962006-09-25T21:44:00.000-05:002006-09-25T21:44:00.000-05:00"Parenthood rocks."So it does, my friend! You're...hey, so glad to hear you're feeling better. You're never 'alone' in feeling crazy, exhausted, overwhelmed, or unfulfilled..those times hit us all. I find even if I don't get enough sunshine on my face I am so much more susceptible to just feeling 'cabin fever'. :) I'm so glad you got thru that week..just hang in there if it hits again and know that it WILL pass. enjoy your time with your adorable little guy. darci :)darcihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11729565512380024608noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24548244.post-1159202022839490882006-09-25T11:33:00.000-05:002006-09-25T11:33:00.000-05:00I am so happy you are feeling better. Some sort of routine really does help, I also thinking getting out of the house (like a walk in the park) worked wonders for me when Supergirl was tiny. I am excited to hear about adoption #2. I will be emailing you soon as I have a thousand travel questions :)
Mostly about cost. Talk to you later,
SarahAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
